Helping accomplished professionals build healthier careers and richer lives.
My work explores the relationship between career, identity, wellbeing, and the lives we build beyond work. Through clinical practice, career advisory, writing, and the Career Health Institute, I help people better understand the psychological impact of work — and advance a healthier way of thinking about career success.

Careers shape how we spend our time, how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and often how we experience our own worth, health, and wellbeing.
Yet the relationship between career and health is often discussed through separate lenses: burnout, job satisfaction, productivity, career development, or work-life balance. My work asks a broader question:
What does it mean to have a healthy career?
Career Health looks at how work and career interact with psychological wellbeing, physical health, identity, relationships, meaning, and the life a person is building beyond work. It is the thread connecting my clinical work, career advisory practice, research, writing, and the Career Health Institute.

The book
The Great Unraveling
The Silent Crisis of High Achievers and the Path to Career Harmony
The Great Unraveling explores what can happen when career success becomes psychologically intertwined with identity, self-worth, and emotional security.
It introduces the Career Distress Response™ and examines why some accomplished professionals remain anxious, overwhelmed, overextended, or unable to disengage from work — even when their careers appear successful from the outside.
The book also introduces Career Harmony: a healthier relationship with work that allows ambition and achievement to coexist with wellbeing, relationships, identity, and a richer life.
